Last week I took an enjoyable trip to Rome to celebrate my daughter’s 21^st birthday. Leaving Stansted airport early on Thursday morning, I was enjoying coffee in Roma before I’d normally get to work. We then enjoyed two days in the eternal city, touring all the fantastic sights, including the Coliseum, Pantheon, Circus Maximus, The Piazza Navona, The Palatine Hill (where Rome began), The Roman Forum, The Spanish Steps, The Vatican… Yes, I did it all!

One thing that came to my attention when looking around Rome is that there is a lot of renovation possibilities. The Coliseum for instance is only half finished. I’m sure if I could get an interested developer, we could turn this into an interesting development of town houses and luxury apartments. I was also reliably informed by our guide that the Vatican owned an enormous amount of residential and commercial property within the city of Rome. I have made it my business to forward onto His Holyness a copy of our excellent property management services in the hope that we can send Ros Jeffreys out there to assist in what must be an enormous task for the Catholic Church!
