No, I'm not talking about the property market - we are still selling plenty. However, the weather has taken a turn for the worse and we expect two weeks of Arctic weather. At this time of the year Kevin Henry are warning all their clients to make sure their properties are kept toasty warm, particularly if they are taking off for warmer climes. Don't turn off the central heating, leave it on low, otherwise you may come back to a nasty shock! If you have an empty property, either have it professionally drained down (we can help), or, again, leave the heating ticking over.
Nearly every year Kevin or Henry are called out in the middle of the night to attend to one of our properties that has a burst pipe. Please ensure that Kevin and I have a good night's rest by taking the necessary precautions if you plan to leave your home empty for any period of time during the forthcoming cold months.
